The Council on Aging helps connect Monterey residents with reliable transportation for work, shopping, medical appointments, and just plain fun.
South County Connector (On-Demand & FLEX Service)
Price: $6.00 one way
Flexible, on-demand rides for residents of Monterey and neighboring towns.
Service area: Egremont, Great Barrington, Monterey, Stockbridge, West Stockbridge, Sheffield, New Marlborough, and Canaan, CT. (Service to Pittsfield is currently paused.)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

BRTA Free Transportation for Seniors in Rural Areas (Pilot Program)
Price: Free
Free door-to-door rides for Monterey seniors (60+) to everywhere BRTA fixed bus routes go, including Pittsfield.
